Weekend Event Support Volunteers - ideal for over 16's looking for work experience in hospitality

We are a rural heritage railway in Chapel Brampton, Northamptonshire who run regular seasonal events on weekends and bank holidays throughout the year, including our popular Brampton Bear and Character Weekends, Halloween Weekend and Santa Specials.

We are looking for enthusiastic and fun-loving volunteers (16 - 100 years old!) to assist with directing customers during events, offering customers information about the railway (training provided), creating, setting up and dismantling displays, manning stalls, wearing a character costume or themed fancy dress, being a chaperone for the character and general support during the event such as keeping the station area clean and tidy. Other duties as needed may be required.

Full training and ongoing support available, no lone working expected. As a rural site you will need access to transport to our venue at NN6 8BA
