Scout Group Lead Volunteer

Are you passionate about helping young people gain skills for life? As a Group Lead Volunteer, you'll provide leadership and support to help a Scout Group thrive. You'll work with volunteers, young people, parents, and the wider community to ensure a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable Scouting experience for everyone. This is a flexible volunteer role, with responsibilities and time commitments varying depending on the size and needs of the local Scout Group. Skills

We're looking for people who can inspire and support others, build positive relationships, and help volunteers work together effectively. Skills such as communication, leadership, organisation, problem-solving, delegation, and team development are valuable, but not essential. Most importantly, we're looking for someone who is enthusiastic about helping young people, willing to learn, and committed to supporting their local Scout Group. The exact requirements and opportunities will vary between Scout Groups, allowing the role to be tailored to local needs and individual strengths.
