We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Volunteer Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in recruiting, training, and supporting volunteers, coordinating events, handling administrative tasks, and supporting community engagement. You will work closely with our Fundraising Manager to ensure volunteers are well-supported and contribute effectively to our mission. Our Work KidsAid delivers long-term, evidence-based therapies at an affordable cost, ensuring families who lack access to other services or financial means can still receive vital support. Our three-pronged approach provides: 1. Therapeutic support for the individual child. 2. Therapeutic support for parents and caregivers. 3. Specialist support for professionals working with children. Volunteer Coordinator Role and Responsibilities 1. Recruitment & Onboarding Assist the Fundraising Manager in recruiting, and onboarding new volunteers through conducting interviews, background checks, leading induction sessions. 2. Training & Development Organise training sessions, provide resources, and offer ongoing support to help volunteers develop their skills and confidence. 3. Scheduling & Coordination Manage volunteer schedules and oversee key tasks, including: • Distributing and collecting donation tins from local businesses. • Collecting items for raffles, tombolas, and events. • Assisting in the organisation and execution of events. • Assembling goody bags for fundraising initiatives. • Managing and updating supporter records on our CRM database. • Reaching out to local businesses to secure raffle prizes. 4. Community Engagement & Retention Promote a welcoming and rewarding volunteer experience by building strong relationships with volunteers and recognising their contributions through appreciation initiatives and events. 5. Administrative & Compliance Management Maintain accurate volunteer records, track hours, and ensure compliance with organisational policies.

Availability Details

Location and Time Commitment:

• Northamptonshire, mainly home-based.
• Approximately 8 hours per week on a flexible basis for a minimum of one year.
• Availability for occasional evenings and weekends to support events.
