Are you a keen gardener? do you enjoy growing fruits and vegetables? would you like to work alongside people looking to improve their mental wellbeing and their gardening skills by sharing your knowledge of gardening and growing?

Allotments are in high demand and are costly, Renew169 Wellbeing have free access to plots at the Tove Valley Centre, Northampton Road, Towcester. 

They are looking to connect with like minded people to help with the new Community Garden Project on Tuesday and Thursday mornings once or twice a month.

Skills

• Keen gardener with some basic knowledge of gardening and growing fruits and vegetables.  
• Physically able to manage some digging and weeding.  
  
• Experience of working on an allotment desirable, but not essential.  
  
• Comfortable chatting to people and sharing your knowledge of gardening and growing.   
  
• Empathy towards those who are struggling with their mental health.  
  
• Ability to listen well.
