Cafe Breakfast Volunteer - New Street Centre Daventry

Do you have a few hours to spare on either a Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday morning?

We are looking for volunteers to help serve breakfasts and drinks in the cafe and chat to our customers.

We are also looking for volunteers to make teas and coffees and toast!

We are a very friendly team of volunteers, and training will be provided.

It's a really nice way to support your community, meet new people, increase confidence and skills in a relaxed and supportive environment.

The New Street cafe is a community hub for elderly people to come and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and some great cooked breakfasts, and a place where they can chat to others and make new friends. We are open on Tuesdays, Wednesday and Fridays for breakfast and on Thursdays we cook a community lunch, we also have knit and natter on a Wednesday!

Our menu has a great selection of breakfast options at affordable prices which includes: 

• Bacon or sausage sandwiches
  
• Full English breakfast
  
• Toast
  
• Toasted fruit loaf or Teacakes etc.

Skills

• Training and support including, food hygiene training will be provided where applicable
• We ask our volunteers if they would be free to volunteer for one morning a week from 9.15am till 12pm.
