Medical Detection Dogs are looking for caring family homes, to look after and socialise puppies and young adult dogs up to 16 months old.

Medical Detection Dogs train their assistance dogs to accompany clients with detectable medical conditions and alert them to oncoming episodes.

If you can support the charity by being involved in socialising puppies or dogs for a period of time, they would love to hear from you.

The role involves, attending regular local puppy classes, following positive dog training methods, being at home a significant amount of the day.

Skills

  • A secure, dog-friendly garden.
  • Time and stamina to manage an active puppy/dog

  • Travelling to classes at the centre or local area on a weekly basis.  The centre is based in Great Horwood, Buckinghamshire  MK17 0NP
  • Keeping focused on the ultimate role for the dog that will eventually move onto a partnership
