Helping marshal your local Half Marathon in the heart of Northampton
Posted for The Amazing Northampton Run CIC
In order to run a successful race for the local community we need marshals to help control the road closures, direct runners and give plenty of encouragement. You will be part of an enthusiastic team and be given a specific role and be looked after by a lead marshal. In return you will get a drink and a home-made cake. Volunteers will be required approximately between the hours of 08:30 and 12:30 The event begins at the Market square and the route takes runners through the town centre past the three sporting grounds and three parks. The route then heads along the river and back up into the town to finish int he market square. Event Marshalls will be located across numerous locations along the 13.1 mile course of the Amazing Northampton Half Marathon The Amazing Northampton Run takes place on Sunday 13th SeptemberSkills
