As the leading kidney research charity in the UK, nothing is going to stop us in our urgent mission to end kidney disease. There are around 3.5 million people living with kidney disease in the UK, treatments can be gruelling and currently there is no cure. Only research will end this and nobody can do it but us, by offering kidney patients and their families hope for the future. We are looking for people with a connections to kidney disease to help raise awareness of kidney disease ,promote kidney health and the work we do. The ambassador role has a wide scope but could involve attending local events and cheque presentations. Connecting with your local renal unit and making sure they have our latest posters and magazines and talking with staff. Giving talks to local groups. It is a flexible role to fit around your life and skills.
Skills
Ideally a connection to kidney disease either personally or professionally. Keen interest in our work Good communication skills Good self-motivation Reliable and flexible to support opportunities when they arise
