Weston Charity Awards Expands Programme For 2018
Following the success of previous awards, the Weston Charity Awards has expanded its area of eligibility into Wales as it re-opens the programme for 2018.
Registered charities in the North of England, the Midlands, and Wales, can apply for a package of support intended to provide long-term benefit.
Applications will be accepted from registered charities that are ambitious and working to alleviate disadvantage in youth, welfare or community sectors.
It is expected that 20 charities will receive:
- A fully funded year of support from Pilotlight.
- An unrestricted cash contribution of £6,200 to support the work with Pilotlight, this includes travel expenses to meetings.
- Access to the advice and support of both Pilotlight and the Garfield Weston Foundation.
- Three ‘connect’ sessions with other Award Winners across the year.
Charities must have an annual income of less than £5 million, and at least one paid full-time member of staff in a leadership position.
Applications will be accepted from 1 December 2017 until 12 January 2018 (5pm).
