Village Newsletter PRIZE winners!

As you may have seen announced in previous bulletins, over December we ran a prize draw to encourage editors of village newsletters to post us a copy of their village newsletter or magazine.

We know there are wonderful newsletters in our villages, mostly edited and distributed by dedicated volunteers, and snvb was keen to build up its own library of copies as well as recognise this valuable work.

We received some excellent newsletters from Abthorpe, Buckingham Canal Society, Chacombe, GRASS (covering Blisworth and other local villages), Greens Norton, Kings Sutton, Paulerspury, Roade, Silverstone, Syresham, Wappenham and Whittlebury.

One of our volunteers drew out of the hat the following lucky winners:

1st prize of £30 to Chacombe,
and 2nd prize of £20 to Abthorpe.
