Upcoming activities at National Trust Stowe Gardens
The National Trust has started running Photography Walks at Stowe, as part of Active Bucks programme. Group participants pay just £2 a session for the opportunity to walk around the iconic landscape at Stowe with our walk leaders who are passionate about Photography. This activity is open to all, but we are particularly aiming to cater to older people who want to get more active, or want to meet other like-minded individuals.
The walks run every Thursday 2-3.30pm from The New Inn Visitor Centre at Stowe. National Trust membership is not required to join us.
A second activity being planned is Mindful Running for Beginners, a 12 week course similar to couch to 5k, but with a more mindful focus. The course will run in May-July, and sessions will be led by a Bucks Mind trained run coach, who can support your personal needs. You can come along to a taster session on 25th March at 10:15am, to see what the session will be all about. Come along to New Inn Visitor Centre at Stowe to join in. There is no fee for this activity as it will mainly utilise free to access parkland.

Stowe Gardens will be exclusively open for FREE for people arriving and entering the gardens before 10am on Sat 23rd March. This is to celebrate our Head Gardeners Fundraising Walk (125 miles from Stowe’s Palladian Bridge to Prior parks Palladian bridge, near Bath). We want to give him a good send off as he starts the journey and so we are welcoming people in for free to do this. People that have arrived before 10am, are then able to stay all day. This is a great opportunity if you want to bring along friends or family that are not National Trust members.
