Towcester Tidy Up March 3rd and 4th

I know that you are all busy people but I also am pretty sure that since Christmas is long gone that you have all been feeling that there is something missing in your life – well search no more people, this is it !! TOWCESTER TIDY UP: Fresh air and gentle exercise, working with great like-minded people and making a visible difference to our Town, you just can’t beat it.

The National Spring Clean has obviously jumped onto our very successful bandwagon. Two years ago we came joint second in the CPRE County-wide search for “Litter Picking Heroes” and last year we came FIRST. Certificates on display in the Library.

So how does it feel to be part of an award-winning team? Great, that’s what.

This year bring your friends, relatives, neighbours and colleagues from work, clubs, groups, or just drag them in off the street! The more volunteers we get then the more we can pick and clean even more of Towcester.

We will be meeting in our four regular spots:

Sat 10am – Recreation Ground car park
Sat 2pm – Leisure Centre car park
Sun 10am – Poundstretcher car park
Sun 2pm – The Mill car park

As always we will provide all of the necessary equipment, you just need to dress for the weather.

Please let me know if you will be attending and how many people will be in “your group” and I will need names beforehand please.

If you could also let me know which session(s) you intend to come to that would be great.

I know that some of you already have some equipment and if so can you please bring it with you or get it to me a day or so before the first session, thank you.

I will be sending out the usual Safety Notes etc next week but if you have any questions before that then please contact me (see below).
