Thomas Wall Trust
The Thomas Wall Trust funds projects targeted towards people experiencing multiple deprivation or facing major hurdles to employment – especially women, people with physical, mental, or learning disabilities and refugees.
The Trust offers grants up to £5,000 for projects that improve communication skills for disadvantaged adults and supports NEET people into employment. Beneficiaries must gain at least one accredited vocational qualification during delivery or within two months of project completion.
The Trust offers grants for specific projects rather than general organisational costs. Pro-rata staffing and operational costs will be considered if appropriate.
Applications can be submitted at any time, and Trustees meet to consider applications twice a year. The charity advises that applications for the July meeting should be submitted by the end of May and, for the November meeting, by the end of September.
