Our funding looks to support those challenged by abuse; addiction; those who are young carers; and those without a safe place to call home. Our grant funding prioritises the areas of:

  • Abuse
  • Addiction
  • Child Carers
  • Homelessness
Grant funding streams

the7stars foundation offers grant funding across the following four streams.

  • Project grants to charities aligned to our funding priorities and age range.
  • Shine Bright funding for regional charities during the Covid-19 pandemic. Funding enables charities to purchase wellbeing, emotional and mental health support items or educational, creative resources for the young people they support to promote happiness in a time of worry and anxiety. (Beneficiaries are selected and items are purchased/distributed by the charity partner.)
  • Direct grants funding to individuals affected by the themes we priorities, supported by outreach/social/care workers or legal professionals. (Applications must be submitted by the supporting professional.)
  • Star Start funding to tackle child food poverty escalated by the Covid-19 pandemic. We support breakfast clubs for young people aged 16 years and under, living in urban cities within the UK. Please note, for 2021 our Star Start funding will be directed to London.

Our funding rounds this year are scheduled for the beginning of March; June; September; and December. You are welcome to apply at any time ahead of the deadlines for these rounds. Please note that applications across our grant programmes will be reviewed as to whether they align with our themes and they are for children aged 16 years or under.
