The Princes Countryside Fund’s Rural Four Grant Programme
Funded by players of People’s Postcode Lottery, the Rural Four (Catalyst, Collaborate, Create and Champion) Grant Programme will provide funding to projects in England, Scotland and Wales that aim to improve the wellbeing of isolated communities in deprived areas.
The Princes Countryside Fund is working with its partners including Scottish Business in the Community, Plunkett Foundation and Pub is the Hub, using their networks as a catalyst for community engagement. Support and guidance is provided to communities to collaborate and learn from others to build plans for projects that reinvigorate or restore vital assets. Funding is then provided to those that meet the programme’s eligibility criteria in order to support the community to create change.
The project seeks to reach out and engage with up to 10 rural communities annually to help deliver and reinvigorate community assets and services.
Applications can be made at any time and will be considered on a quarterly basis.
