The Michael Tippett Musical Foundation
The music of the British composer Michael Tippett – including the oratorio A Child of Our Time, five operas and four symphonies – is among the most visionary of the twentieth century.
The Michael Tippett Musical Foundation is the Charitable Trust established by the composer to encourage the music of the future. The principal aims of the Foundation are to honour Tippett’s desire to fund young musicians and composers and to support the performance and promotion of his own music.
The deadline for applications is 30 September 2024. Projects for consideration should start not earlier than January 2025.
