South Northants Arts and Events
Arts organisations and creative practitioners have not been idle during lockdown – far from it! Instead of the monthly Arts Events Calendar, here’s a few bits and pieces to keep you in the arts loop.
Visual arts
Following on from the successful move online of the Heseltine Gallery’s Focus on Photography virtual exhibition, the next opportunity is extended to anyone who has been creative in the visual arts during lockdown, with a summer show called ‘Art in Isolation’. Val Goldfinch’s example ‘Lockdown Rainbow’ was made with photos of flowers in her garden. Images are invited this month (up to 3 per person, by 30th June) and artwork can be for sale. There are also some new activities specifically for carers, organised to replace the group activities previously taking place: Northamptonshire Carers
