The Innovation Fund is administered by Public Health England (PHE) with money provided by the Department of Health.
The Fund aims to address inequalities in sexual health, reproductive health and HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) which remain a major public health issue in England.
The funding is for projects that look to spearhead new approaches in addressing inequalities in these three areas. In 2020-21, there is particular interest in supporting projects that focus specifically on Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) communities in England.
The deadline for 2020-21 applications is 18 September 2020 (5pm).
A webinar to provide guidance on how to apply for the fund will be held on 2 September 2020 at 11am. The webinar will explain the application process in more detail; a recording will later be posted on the website.
