Northamptonshire Sport – Olympic and Paralympic Legacy Fund
Grants are available for sports clubs and organisations within Northamptonshire to offer regular sporting sessions of any of the sports featured in the Olympic or Paralympic games in 2024.
Grants are available to sports clubs, organisations and disability groups in Northamptonshire for providing sports sessions.
The aim of the funding programme is to utilise the attention sport will receive during the Olympic and Paralympic games 2024 to attract new members/volunteers and diversify their offer to their local community.
Grants are available to sports clubs, organisations and disability groups in Northamptonshire for the delivery of an Olympics or Paralympics 2024 sport (this must be the specific variant of the sport being played at the games).

Applications will be considered from:
- Sports clubs (registered with a national governing body).
- Voluntary and community organisations(with a not-for-profit constitution).
- Registered charities.
- Community groups/societies.
Funding is available to clubs/organisations that are running events, training or other sessions during the period when the sport is being played at the Olympics or Paralympics.
Grants can be used flexibly, but must be used to promote the sport on offer and create a legacy following the games.
Examples of eligible project ideas include:
- Running an open day to attract new members.
- Starting a disability section at a sports club.
The deadline for applications is 15 July 2024 (5pm).
