Northamptonshire Community Foundation – High Sheriff’s Initiative Fund
The aim of this scheme is to help communities and people within Northamptonshire realise their potential, create stronger and safer communities, and reduce crime and antisocial behaviour. The focus of the Fund in 2023 is on tackling serious youth violence.
Local community and voluntary groups in Northamptonshire can apply.
The focus of the Fund is on community projects which tackle serious youth violence.
Projects must cover one of the following themes:
- Preventative: projects working with vulnerable families and communities to reduce childhood adversity.
- Early intervention: projects working with at risk or excluded children and young people.
- Intervention: projects working with young people at risk of offending or reoffending in relation to violent crime.
The fund is open to new and existing projects, as well as projects which are led by young people.
The next deadline for expression of interest is 30 June 2023 (5pm).
