NEW COURSE: Developing a Fundraising Strategy
This two day course (on 25th and 26th November)will walk you through a tried-and-tested framework for developing a fundraising strategy, enabling you to evaluate and prioritise the most valuable fundraising activities for your organisation and make the best use of your limited resources.
You’ll be shown how to analyse your current fundraising performance, explore future opportunities and challenges, and identify key fundraising audiences – then scope out and prioritise a range of different types of fundraising, identify key building blocks to put in place for long-term success, and accurately forecast the likely financial return. Finally, we’ll explain how to get everyone in your organisation behind a shared fundraising vision and ensure they understand their role in successful fundraising.
You’ll leave the course with a clearer sense of how to:
- Identify the best ways to build a balanced fundraising portfolio and sustain your organisation’s work in a challenging fundraising climate
- Calculate how much you can expect to raise over what time period
- Harness the many different ideas from colleagues and trustees into a coherent fundraising strategy
- Ensure everyone within your organisation pulls together on fundraising, and agrees what fundraising success should look like
This course is suited to… people who have at least some fundraising experience already, but want to develop the tools, knowhow and confidence to shape a more strategic and sustainable approach.
