National Lottery Heritage Grants

The National Lottery Heritage Fund supports large-scale projects that connect people and communities with the UK’s heritage. Funding is available for a wide range of heritage projects, including conservation, capital works, community engagement, skills development and organisational sustainability.

Grants from £250,000 to £10 million
Supports all types of heritage projects, including historic buildings, museums, landscapes, archives and cultural heritage
Projects must demonstrate how they will save heritage, protect the environment, increase inclusion and participation, and support organisational sustainability
Expression of Interest required before a full application can be submitted
Match funding is required, with a minimum contribution of 5% for grants under £1 million and 10% for grants over £1 million

Deadline: Applications are accepted through quarterly funding rounds, next deadline is 12th November.
