National Grid – Community Matters Fund
National Grid’s Community Matters Fund supports community organisations helping people stay warm, reduce energy costs and tackle fuel poverty.
The latest funding round focuses on projects that provide practical support and long-term solutions to improve energy affordability.
Key info:
- Grants of up to £5,000 for registered charities and eligible non-profit organisations, £2,000 for constituted charitable organisations without a charity number
- Open to organisations in the Midlands, South West England and South Wales
- Supports projects such as warm spaces, energy-saving advice, home energy efficiency measures, community transport and support for isolated households
- Priority for organisations working in economically disadvantaged communities and with underrepresented or marginalised groups
- Focus on projects that create lasting benefits and help households reduce energy bills over the long term
