Lloyds Bank Foundation – Criminal Justice National Programme
Through its Criminal Justice National Programme, the Lloyds Bank Foundation for England and Wales is looking to fund work which will achieve a positive impact on policy and practice around:
- Supporting the specialist voluntary sector to operate, become stronger and to speak up within the current very difficult prisons and probation environment.
- Improving the policy and operating environment for smaller charities, particularly by seeking to influence the new probation system. The Foundation has already begun work on building links between the Ministry of Justice and grant holders and engaging in discussions about the new probation system.
- Influencing work further “upstream” in the criminal justice system to help divert and reduce people entering prison in the first place.
- Influencing support for specific demographic groups within the criminal justice system.
The deadline for expressions of interest is 31 May 2019 with notification by 5 July 2019.
