Law Society Charity
The Law Society Charity, an independent charitable fund set up by the Law Society in 1974, offers grants to charities active in the UK.
The funding is intended to support charitable work that relates to the law and the legal profession and will only support charitable organisations whose projects promote:
- Human rights
- Access to justice
- Legal education
Applications will be reviewed at the following Charity Trustee Board Meetings in 2020: 31 March, 30 June, 22 September, 8 December.
Due to an overwhelming volume of applications for awards the Charity no longer provides provisional application deadlines. Applications can be submitted at any time and a closing date will be published on the website when the maximum number of applications have been received that can be properly assessed and reviewed by the Trustees. Applications received after this closing date will be assessed at the next following meeting date.
