Job Opportunity – snvb Garden Buddies Project

Project Co-ordinator – 28 hours/week – £13.50 per hour

Garden Buddies is a community project and membership scheme which provides low-cost gardening services to the people who really need it.

We carry out basic maintenance work in gardens in and across South Northants including: mowing, hedge cutting, pruning, digging, strimming and garden clearance.

Our aim is to offer support to the most needy while also providing a positive focus for volunteers of all abilities.

We are now looking to expand the project and need a Co-ordinator who:

has experience of successful business growth and development
has experience of gardening
is enthusiastic in meeting people and the great outdoors

Experience of gardening work is essential, and an understanding of working across a wide rural area is vital.

The applicant will need to have access to their own transport and a clean driving licence, and be able to work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
