Job Opportunity – Project Coordinator for NESS project

Project Coordinator

28 hours per week , salary £18,200(£12.50ph) plus pension

snvb, a charity based in Towcester, manages the Brackley and Towcester Volunteer Centres as well as a number of front-line, support projects.

We are seeking a Project Coordinator to lead our involvement with the Northamptonshire Energy Saving Service (NESS): an exciting new three-year project working to alleviate fuel poverty for households across the county. The project is a close partnership with Care & Repair (Northamptonshire), Corby & Kettering Citizens Advice and the Community Law Service (CLS) with funding from The Warm Homes Fund.

The role will be undertaken through a community-based outreach approach, breaking down any potential barriers to support services, encouraging householders to take up tariff reviews and switching and signposting them to NESS partners including CLS, Care and Repair and Citizens Advice Corby and Kettering.

This is a part time position reporting directly to the CEO. Working occasional evening hours  and/or Saturday or Sunday may be necessary. A pension contribution of up to 5% is available matching the employee contribution.
