Household Support Fund – Grant Opportunities for VCSE Organisations
WNC have been allocated monies via the Household Support Fund to help our residents with cost of living and crisis support until the end of September 2024.
To distribute this money as soon as possible and to those most in need of support, they are offering VCSE Organisations the opportunity to apply for grants via the Community Grants Framework.
There are 3 different grant pots available depending on what the organisation can offer:
- £200,000 available for projects or services supporting the Food Aid Network
- £100,000 available for projects or services supporting identified vulnerable cohorts such as disabled people, care leavers, pensioners and those with caring responsibilities.
- £283,216.77 available for projects or services supporting vulnerable households struggling to afford household and wider essentials.
The type of support offered by organisations can be wide ranging, from furniture and white goods, to household items, toiletries, clothing, baby supplies, food or energy saving essentials.
The closing date for grant applications is 5pm on Wednesday 26 June 2024.
