Funding to Improve Mental Health in Mid-Life
UK-based not-for-profit organisations can apply for grants to support practical, community-focused projects that will support and improve people’s mental health at this critical life-stage.
Applications will be considered from not-for-profit organisations which meet all of the following criteria:
- Their project or initiative will support people in mid-life. Suggested age range 30s to 50s.
- Their project focuses specifically on supporting and improving people’s mental health and wellbeing, rather than on addressing wider social issues.
- Their application clearly explains how they will reach, engage and directly support individuals in improving their mental health and wellbeing.
- Their application outlines how they will measure and evaluate the difference their project makes to the mental health and wellbeing of individual participants.
The maximum grant available is £20,000.
Projects awarded funding will automatically receive an uplift of 15% of the level of funding awarded as a contribution to core costs.
Please note this funding will not support respite breaks, day trips, holidays or requests for a level of funding that represents more than 10% of an organisation’s annual turnover.
The deadline for applications is 31 May 2019.
