Free Training from Citizens Advice
Citizens Advice (Central and East Northamptonshire) and National Energy Action, have teamed up to make sure, that this winter, public and voluntary sector professionals are even better prepared for the fight against cold homes.
We’ve secured a range of funding to ensure that more help is available to support vulnerable consumers and the professionals who work with them, to take action to deal with the cost of energy bills.
This year we’ll be placing a special emphasis on those funding arrangements which improve the energy efficiency of people’s homes but aside from that expect to also learn about:
- developments in the energy market
- behavioural change approaches to reducing energy usage
- benefits and entitlements.
We’ll be running a series of training sessions, either available on an “open invitation” basis (See right), or on request for teams who can organise sufficient number of colleagues. All training is offered free of charge. Beyond this, our team can:
- Attend community events
- Offer training to consumers
- Provide one to one support
- Speak at team meetings
Get in touch with a member of the team now by emailing us (t.richards@cencab.org.uk) or call us on 01604 235080 and find out what we can do for you and the people you help
