Family Food Aid Fund
Grants are available to fund voluntary and community groups in Northamptonshire for projects that support families with children and young people in need of food aid.
mall and locally managed voluntary, community and self-help groups that are based in and benefiting residents of Northamptonshire are eligible to apply.
Groups must:
- Have people volunteering to help with the activity who are not part of the management committee.
- Have a set of written rules or constitution.
- Adhere to a child protection policy and vulnerable people’s policy if working with children or vulnerable adults.
- An equalities policy in place.
Grants can be used for projects tackling food poverty in Northamptonshire.
Applications are welcomed under the following priorities:
- Food for families – providing easy access to nutritious food and balanced meals for families with a limited budget.
- Young people – supporting future generations by prioritising the wellbeing of children and young people struggling with food insecurity.
Applications are open at any time and are assessed on a rolling basis. Any applications received after 29 November will be reviewed in January 2025.
