DCMS Youth Investment Fund – England wide small capital projects
BBC Children in Need are distributing phase 1 of this fund on behalf of the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport. It opens for application from 31st January 2022.
The fund aims to create, expand and improve local youth facilities and their services to see positive outcomes for young people including improved health and wellbeing and skills for work/employability and life.
Funding is available for small-scale capital projects, including equipment, small redevelopments and other capital projects.
- Grants between £5,000 and £50,000
- Grants must be spent by 31st March 2022
- Projects must make improvements on the lives young people, the majority of which should be 11 to 19 years old.
- Projects must be delivering and work in ‘left behind’ areas of England – Check if your Local Authority Area is included.
Deadline: Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, but the fund will close as soon as funding is allocated, no later than 25th February.
