Community Right to Buy
The Community Right to Buy gives local communities in England the legal right to purchase valued local assets, such as buildings and land, to ensure they remain in community ownership. It allows eligible community groups to have first refusal on assets listed as Assets of Community Value (ACVs) or Sporting Assets of Community Value (SACVs) when they come up for sale, giving communities a stronger chance to retain important local spaces.
