Funding for new intermediary technical partners with the ability, expertise, and networks to distribute rapid funding to further coronavirus/Covid-19 response work with communities experiencing racial inequality in the UK.
The funding is made possible by Comic Relief working in partnership with the National Emergencies Trust (NET), Barclays and the Clothworkers’ Foundation.
Approximately £2.1 million is available to make and manage grants of between £150,000 and £250,000. It is expected that between 10 and 15 investments will be made. Funding is available for up to 18 months.
Selected intermediary technical partners will be responsible for making grants to other organisations focussed on addressing Covid-19 needs and priorities among communities experiencing racial inequality.
The following are some examples of what the funding might support (this is not an exhaustive list):
Applications will be accepted from legally constituted groups and organisations with an annual income of at least £75,000.
The deadline for applications is midday on 30 November 2020.
