The Cadent Foundation has been established to make a positive and lasting difference in the communities that Cadent serves in the West Midlands, North West England, East of England and North London. Over a five-year period, Cadent Foundation plans to grant over £20 million to charitable causes which focus on research and innovation, people in vulnerable situations, the environment and local communities. The Foundation is administered by the Charities Trust.
Grants are available for charities, community groups and other organisations for projects which help to identify and provide support to people in vulnerable situations and energy poor communities, to protect and preserve the environment, and create a sustainable energy future.
In response to the current coronavirus/COVID-19 outbreak, the Foundation have also pledged £240,000 to help foodbanks in the Trussell Trust’s network as they work to support people affected by the virus.
The deadline for applications is 31 May 2020 with notification of decisions within three months of the deadline.
