Established in 2015, the Bupa UK Foundation’s mission is to help people live longer, healthier, happier lives. In the last three years, the Bupa UK Foundation has awarded more than £2 million in grants to over 70 organisations across the UK to improve the health and wellbeing.
The Foundation’s grant-making currently focuses on three themes: Mid-life Mental Health, Caring for Carers and Healthy Futures supporting young adults aged 18 to 25 who live with ongoing health challenges.
The 2019 funding programme is focused on practical, community focused projects that aim to support and improve people’s mental health in mid-life.
Mid-life (defined for this programme as age range of 30s and 50s) can be a time of increased responsibilities, challenges and pressures for some and the prevalence of mental illness peaks among people in their middle years.
The deadline for applications is 31 May 2019.
