If you’re thinking about becoming a volunteer at Brackley Town Football Club but don’t know how to get involved, then their Volunteer Open Evening is perfect for you! With talks from the CEO at 6:30pm and 7:30pm, plus tours of St James Park and some of their regular volunteers to chat to, this event is perfect for anyone curious about volunteering at their local club. Whether you can spare an hour a week or an hour or two every day, it doesn’t matter! They have all kinds of opportunities available, there’s guaranteed to be something to suit you.

What kinds of roles do they have available?

Matchday Roles

The matchday operations team are vitally important to the success of each game. Matches are usually played on Saturdays with kick-off at 3pm and the operations team work between 12 and 6pm. They do occasionally have Tuesday evening games which kick-off at 7:45pm.

Example roles: stewards, turnstile operators, programme sellers, 50/50 lottery sellers, photographers, videographers

Non-Matchday Roles

A large number of volunteer roles are not limited to matchdays and a lot of these roles are typical to those that can be found in any business. Non-matchday roles can be suitable for anyone with a few hours a week to spare.

Example roles: administration, welfare support, photography & videography, retail, business development

You do not need to register to attend, you can simply turn up on the night.
