Brackley Elves – Christmas Update

Christmas is coming and this year we are doing things slightly differently. With money tight and budgets stretched, we are focussing our efforts on the most at risk in our community; local families in need and our elderly folk.

In addition to Christmas, we are also thinking about Winter 2022-2023 as well as ‘Warm Spaces’ and how we can best support these. Work on this is ongoing with more details soon…

We are incredibly grateful to Brackley FEOFFEE this year for their donation which has provided us with the funds to buy a Christmas Gift for 100+ local children. These have been identified through our work with Claire Readman at “Helping You Live” and Nikki John at Northamptonshire Children’s Trust.

Buttress, Maidaid & Caterparts have also made a donation which, alongside FEOFFEE, will enable us to treat the old folk at the Brackley Saints Community Project (Kim Grantham ) and the Brackley Area Volunteer Car Service (Rachel Page). Christmas lunch will be provided for anyone alone on Christmas Day alongside a Christmas Treat to keep the 100+ members of Kim’s Wednesday lunch club warm this winter.

Mercedes AMG-Petronas, who have always been supportive, continue to help us elves again this year. Their staff have been asked to donate items to the Warm Space Project, gifts from our Amazon Wishlist and Toiletries to support Helping You Live families.
