Baron Davenport’s Charity
The Baron Davenport’s Charity was established on 16 July 1930 with the aim of assisting those in need in the Birmingham area (60 mile radius).
The Charity awards grants in the following categories:
- Almshouses, hospices and residential homes for older people.
- Organisations for the benefit of children and young people (under 25 years of age).
- Organisations supporting older people.
- Single women and mothers living alone, and fatherless children.
Applications are due each year by 15 March and 15 September.
