Barchester’s Charitable Foundation
Older People and Adults with Disabilities or mental health conditions
Barchester’s Charitable Foundation supports small local charities and community groups across England, Scotland and Wales to improve quality of life for older people and adults with a disability or mental health condition.
Grants (typically £100–£2,600) can fund activity projects, equipment and materials, member transport, and day trips or holidays that help people connect with others, stay active and reduce loneliness; they focus on small organisations and are unlikely to fund groups with high reserves.
Group applications open four times a year (January, April, July, October), while applications for individuals (for mobility equipment) are accepted year‑round via a third‑party referrer.
