A new Chief Executive for Northamptonshire ACRE

Northamptonshire ACRE is delighted to announce the appointment of Nicola Toms as our new Chief Executive, who will continue the Charity’s work with rural communities in Northamptonshire to improve their quality of life, especially for those disadvantaged by their rurality.

Nicola is currently the Deputy Chief Executive of Daventry Volunteer Centre where she has worked to establish DVC as a centre of excellence for Charity infrastructure support, volunteer brokerage, project service delivery, and partnership working.Born, raised and working for many years in Northamptonshire, the County has a special place in Nicola’s heart. Fostering community cohesion is part of her core beliefs and something that she is passionate about.

Nicola will work to expand the Charity’s profile within Northamptonshire and build upon the excellent work done by our current Chief Executive, Elaine O’Leary, who will be retiring in early 2024 after over 12 years with the Charity.
