ADHD and Autism Assessment Pathways

Changes are being introduced to the Autism Assessment Pathway across Leicester, Leicestershire, Rutland and Northamptonshire as NHS organisations work with providers to manage increasing demand and waiting times for neurodevelopmental services.

Referrals for Autism assessments will continue to be accepted, however some people may experience longer waits for routine assessments. Priority will be given to those who have already started their assessment or treatment journey.

The ICB Cluster and NHFT recognise that VCSE organisations, councillors and Healthwatch colleagues are often approached by residents seeking information and support while they are waiting.
