Summer Dr Bike Safety Events

With summer now here, we are excited to be delivering a series of Dr Bike events across Northamptonshire in partnership with local youth organisations and community partners.

Dr Bike is a free, quick repair service that helps young people get their bikes checked, repaired and roadworthy. We understand that bike repairs can often be expensive, which is why we have targeted communities where young people can benefit most from this support.

Alongside the bike repairs, there will be a range of additional activities and opportunities available:

Youth Council members/Young Ambassador will be engaging with young people and gathering feedback through a short travel survey. Also learn how to become a Youth Cllr or IWill Young Ambassador.
EPIC Business will be attending selected events to showcase the support they offer to young people aged 16+ who are interested in starting their own business. Eligible young people can apply for grants of up to £500 to help bring their business ideas to life.
Our popular Smoothie Bike will also be available, giving young people the chance to pedal their way to a healthy and refreshing smoothie and more.
