National Lottery Reaching Communities (England) – Larger community grants
Reaching Communities England offers flexible grants of over £20,000 for up to 5 years to support organisations and projects that strengthen communities and improve lives. Most project receive under £500,000.
Priorities are for projects that:
- support places, people or communities experiencing poverty, disadvantage or discrimination
- support people and communities to shape the decisions that affect their lives
Funding can cover project costs, partnerships, land or building work, staff costs, equipment, room hire and project evaluation. The fund will also support work that helps your organisation develop build or test new ways of working including things like business planning, staff training, improving governance, upgrading tech.
There is a strong expectation that communities are meaningfully involved in the design and delivery of the work, and that projects respond to local needs and inequalities.
