The Impetus Leadership Academy 2025
Impetus are open for applications to their Leadership Academy, a fully funded professional development programme supporting talent from ethnic minority backgrounds in the UK youth sector to progress into senior leadership roles.
Since welcoming its first cohort in October 2021, the ILA has supported 36 emerging leaders from ethnic minority backgrounds through a series of masterclasses supplemented with expert coaching and mentoring, alongside a programme of events. 22 of 36 participants from the first three cohorts secured new roles or promotions by the end of the programme.
Impetus is now recruiting for their fourth cohort of 12 emerging leaders, starting in April 2025. If you would be interested in applying or know someone who would benefit from this programme, please encourage them to apply by Sunday 9 March.
The programme is free for participants (with travel and reasonable accommodation expenses covered for participants based outside London) and you can check your eligibility and apply through Impetus’ website.
