Northamptonshire Creative Climate Action Fund

Large grants are available to fund up to three creative projects that build awareness around climate change and encourage people to make behavioural changes to protect the environment in Northamptonshire.

The scheme aims to provide large, impactful grants to support up to three local arts projects in Northamptonshire that highlight climate change issues and help to encourage local communities to change their lifestyles to protect the environment.

The project must deliver on the following:

Work with a professional arts practitioner/group of art practitioners or an arts organisation (or the applying organisation is an arts organisation) to deliver excellence of high quality arts. Eligible applicants will need to evidence a portfolio of art work from the commissioned artists.
Have a programme in place to engage the community within Northamptonshire that builds awareness around climate change and encourages people to make behavioural changes to protect the environment in Northamptonshire.

Projects addressing one or more of the following are welcome to apply:

Encouraging local residents to rethink their lifestyles.
Enabling a fair and just transition in making lifestyle changes.
Connecting with the biodiversity crisis.
Assisting local communities to understand the climate crisis.
Adapting to the effects of climate change.
Raising awareness of the impact of human activity on the planet.

The next deadline for expressions of interest is 14 March 2025.
