BBC Children in Need Set to Launch New Grants Programme in Autumn 2022

The funding will continue to support children and young people across the UK.

This year, BBC Children in Need released the details of its Grantmaking Strategy for 2022-2025, focusing on:

• Sharing power with children and young people.
• Acting flexibly.
• Using its voice to build awareness and empathy around issues.
• Building partnerships to bring communities and investors together.

In line with these priorities, there have been significant alterations to the funding streams which will be offered, including the following:

• Project-based funding stream (launching October 2022).
• Core (organisational) costs stream (launching October 2022).
• Emerging Grants funding stream for small and diverse organisations (launching spring 2023).

Organisations will only be able to apply for one stream per year and should think carefully about which is most appropriate to them.
