Opportunities with Learning Disability Partnership Board [K]

The Learning Disability Partnership Board has a new project. We want people with learning disabilities to work with us in their local community. We have appointed people with learning disabilities as local champions for their area. There are 7 local champions. We want people to apply to mentor the champions and support them to do their role well. You will support the champions to go to different places and talk to other people with learning disabilities. You will support them to find out about what other people think, and about what is good or bad in their area. You will support the local champion to report back on this at a local meeting in your area and at the Learning Disability Partnership Board (known as the LDPB). You will be supported to do your role well by LDPB staff.
