Volunteer Receptionist/Administrator (Change Grow Live)
A rewarding opportunity has arisen to join the CGL team across four sites in Northamptonshire. S2S is an Integrated Recovery Service requiring four Admin/Reception Volunteers to assist our Recovery Teams at our Northampton, Kettering, Corby and Wellingborough sites. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience and knowledge within the substance misuse field and enhance your CV. We are looking for someone to assist with day to day office duties such as answering the phone, opening and distributing mail, filing, photocopying, record keeping and other office based duties including manning our busy reception areas.
You will expected to provide a welcoming environment at front of house to service users, visitors and other professionals. To assist with the day to day office/reception duties such as answering the phone, opening and distributing mail, filing, photocopying, record keeping etc Create a welcoming and friendly environment for service users at S2S Northamptonshire Maintain and develop administrative processes within the service To assist with the data management of the service To assist with communications with service users and enquiries from the general public (in person, via telephone, mail or email) Participate in Team meetings and taking minutes where required To maintain the correspondence file and reception records To man the reception area
Education, knowledge and experience
Understanding of administration and reception duties Basic office experience Understanding of the issues and willingness to work with the client group Good written communication skills
Abilities and skills
Excellent communication skills Proficiency in IT including Microsoft Word and Excel Confidence to deal with enquiries on the phone and in person Willingness to attend regular supervision and undertake work related accreditation Able to respect and maintain confidentiality
