Volunteer Litter Pickers

round good guy, David Reed needs your help and has asked to share this
"TOWCESTER TIDY UP CAMPAIGN
I have undertaken a couple of “local” litter picks near where I live as part of my allowed outdoor exercise sessions.
If anyone wants to do the same then please contact me and we can make
arrangements for you to collect the appropriate equipment from me. I will leave
the stuff outside my door at an agreed time and then when you have finished
with it then leave it back there and let me know.
All of the equipment will be cleaned thoroughly before you get it and you will need to use your own gloves and it would help if you bring your own sanitiser for your hands when you have finished.
I have children-size litter pickers, so the whole family can get involved. You will need to provide your own rubbish sacks and then put what you pick up in your own appropriate coloured bin for collection by SNC, but I can supply the litter pickers, hoops and hi viz jackets.
With a lot less footfall around the Town there is less obvious litter
around but there is still plenty out there when you look for it so why not join
me in not so much a virtual litter pick but an actual one while following the Government’s
social distancing rules.
I look forward to hearing from lots of you"
